Working closely with the Director of Finance and a close-knit accounting team, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end activities, and providing timely reporting. Your Responsibilities
• You'll prepare and post journal entries while maintaining accurate general ledger accounts and monthly reconciliations.
• You'll support the month-end close process by ensuring financial transactions are completed accurately and on schedule.
• You'll maintain fixed asset records and assist with inventory accounting and daily accounting operations.
• You'll prepare recurring financial reports and provide accounting support to the Director of Finance and Senior Financial Analyst.
• You'll assist with financial analysis, intercompany reconciliations, cash tracking, and other accounting projects as required.
Skills and Qualifications
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, with strong journal entry, general ledger reconciliation, and month-end close experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Experience working with ERP systems, with NetSuite considered a strong asset
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
• Experience with fixed asset accounting and inventory accounting is preferred
• Manufacturing experience is an asset but not required
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
