About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Lead to join a large-scale public sector technology initiative focused on delivering reliable, high-quality digital solutions. Your Responsibilities
• You'll lead and coordinate end-to-end testing activities, ensuring successful execution across multiple project streams
• You'll develop testing strategies, test plans, test cases, test data, and execution reports for functional and technical validation
• You'll oversee defect management processes, including defect triage, change request tracking, resolution management, and status reporting
• You'll execute and support functional, non-functional, integration, regression, performance, and data testing activities
• You'll collaborate with project managers, business teams, developers, and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure quality deliverables
• You'll support User Acceptance Testing activities, facilitate testing sessions, and monitor entrance and exit criteria
• You'll contribute QA expertise throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle, supporting development, integration, and deployment activities

Skills and Qualifications
• 8+ years of progressive Quality Assurance experience, including leading QA teams and managing enterprise testing initiatives
• Demonstrated experience with automated testing tools, test management processes, defect tracking, and version control systems, preferably Microsoft DevOps
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, COTS applications, SaaS platforms, and cloud-based solutions
• Strong experience executing functional, non-functional, integration, regression, performance, load, and data testing activities
• Proven ability to create testing strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data, and testing documentation
• Experience extracting and validating data using SQL queries and supporting data migration and validation activities
• Knowledge of structured development methodologies and all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle
• Experience supporting and leading User Acceptance Testing activities and coordinating testing efforts across project teams
• Previous experience within Government or Public Sector environments is considered a strong asset
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
