Are you highly detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment? We are seeking a Data Entry Specialist to join a professional records management team in Burnaby. This role combines high-volume data entry with light material handling responsibilities, supporting the accurate digitization and processing of records.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys focused, independent work, has strong keyboarding skills, and takes pride in maintaining accuracy while meeting productivity targets. You'll play an important role in ensuring sensitive information is entered correctly and efficiently into client databases.

Your Responsibilities

• You'll retrieve medical record files from storage cartons and identify required information for data entry into client databases
• You'll maintain a high volume of accurate keystrokes while meeting established productivity standards
• You'll review, process, and enter sensitive information with a strong focus on accuracy and confidentiality
• You'll transport document cartons between pallets and workstations throughout the day as required
• You'll organize and return files to storage cartons after processing is complete
• You'll ensure records are handled carefully and according to established procedures
• You'll maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation environment
• You'll support team productivity goals while consistently following quality standards

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience in data entry, records management, administrative support, or a similar detail-oriented role
• Strong keyboarding skills with the ability to maintain high-volume data entry accuracy
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Comfortable working independently while maintaining productivity targets
• Ability to lift and carry cartons weighing 30-50 lbs throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and lower boxes from heights ranging between 13" and 45"
• Comfortable carrying cartons up to 20 feet approximately every 5-7 minutes
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods while performing computer-based work
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining quality standards
• Approved protective safety footwear with slip-resistant soles required
• Approximately 95% of work is performed from a seated position
• Frequent repetitive keyboarding with performance measured by keystroke volume and accuracy
• Ability to maintain approximately 10,000 keystrokes per hour with a high degree of accuracy
• Regular lifting, carrying, and moving of document cartons weighing 30-50 lbs
• Ability to safely handle materials throughout the workday while following workplace safety procedures
