About the Opportunity

Altis Recruitment is partnering with a respected child and family services organization to hire an Associate, Recruitment & Onboarding. This role plays a key part in attracting top talent, supporting hiring managers, and creating a welcoming and engaging onboarding experience for new employees across the organization.

Working closely with the People & Culture team, you will help shape the employee journey from recruitment through orientation. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to meaningful work that positively impacts employees, teams, and the communities they serve.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll manage full-cycle recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, arranging interviews, reference checks, and offer coordination
  • In this role, you’ll partner with hiring managers to support staffing priorities and recruitment strategies across multiple departments
  • You’ll coordinate and facilitate monthly new employee orientation sessions and maintain onboarding materials
  • You’ll prepare recruitment reports, vacancy tracking documents, and onboarding metrics for internal stakeholders
  • You’ll build relationships with educational institutions, community organizations, and professional associations to support talent attraction efforts
  • You’ll collaborate with HR, IT, and operational teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires
  • You’ll support employer branding initiatives and contribute to various HR projects and committee work

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in recruitment, onboarding, or a related Human Resources role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or Human Resources certification or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes and coordinating onboarding programs
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR administrative practices
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms, preferably Dayforce
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusive recruitment and onboarding practices
  • Excellent communication, organization, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
