About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Customer-Facing Technical Architect to lead enterprise SaaS implementations, integrations, and data migrations for large-scale water utility organizations. In this highly visible role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor, guiding customers through digital transformation initiatives that directly support the delivery of safe drinking water and wastewater services.
Working closely with customer IT teams, system integrators, and internal product and engineering stakeholders, you will architect and deliver scalable solutions that connect modern cloud platforms with complex legacy systems. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll own the post-sales technical architecture for enterprise customers, ensuring successful onboarding, implementation, and long-term platform adoption
• You’ll design and govern integrations between SaaS applications and enterprise systems including LIMS, CIS, billing, GIS, SCADA, EAM, and reporting platforms
• You’ll lead large-scale data migration initiatives, overseeing data mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and cutover planning
• You’ll partner with customer stakeholders to align architecture decisions, implementation timelines, and risk mitigation strategies
• You’ll provide technical leadership during design reviews, go-live activities, escalations, and complex delivery challenges
• You’ll ensure solutions meet cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, performance, and auditability requirements
• You’ll collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to establish scalable implementation standards and best practices
Skills and Qualifications
• 10+ years of progressive experience in technical architecture, integration architecture, or solutions architecture roles
• Proven success delivering customer-facing enterprise software implementations within complex environments
• Strong expertise with RESTful APIs, event-driven integrations, OAuth 2.0, SSO, certificate-based authentication, SQL, and relational databases
• Hands-on experience leading enterprise data migration projects and working with legacy technology platforms
• Experience integrating SaaS platforms with infrastructure-intensive or utility-related systems
• Familiarity with Azure-based cloud environments, GIS platforms such as ESRI, and enterprise systems including Oracle or SAP is considered an asset
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, documentation, and technical leadership skills
