This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team where your expertise will directly support payroll excellence while contributing to meaningful organizational impact.

Reporting to the People Operations team, you'll play a key role in delivering end-to-end payroll operations, supporting payroll analysis, employee inquiries, reconciliations, and continuous process improvements. • Join a purpose-driven organization that values collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning.

  • Work alongside experienced payroll professionals who are committed to mentorship and knowledge sharing.
  • Gain valuable exposure to Workday Payroll in a modern, evolving environment.
  • Competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, RRSP matching up to 4%, four weeks of PTO.
  • Enjoy a workplace that values innovation, professional growth, and work-life balance.

Your Responsibilities

  • You'll manage recurring payroll cycles, including pre-payroll validation, payroll inputs, reconciliations, post-payroll reviews, and issue resolution.
  • You'll review payroll data, investigate discrepancies, perform variance analysis, and ensure payroll accuracy across multiple jurisdictions.
  • You'll respond to employee payroll inquiries, investigate routine issues, and coordinate resolutions with cross-functional teams.
  • You'll support Workday Payroll administration, testing activities, reporting, and ongoing process improvements.
  • You'll maintain payroll documentation, process controls, reconciliation files, and standard operating procedures.
  • You'll prepare payroll reports, exception reporting, and operational analysis to support compliance and decision-making.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of Canadian payroll experience with at least one full year of end-to-end payroll processing in Workday Payroll.
  • Demonstrated experience processing multi-jurisdictional Canadian payroll, including Quebec payroll requirements.
  • Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation completed or actively in progress.
  •  Strong understanding of Canadian payroll legislation, payroll reconciliations, year-end payroll activities, and payroll reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, filtering, and variance analysis.
  • Experience supporting payroll implementations, user acceptance testing, or Workday stabilization activities is considered an asset.
  • Exposure to unionized payroll environments is an asset.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, customer service skills, and the ability to manage recurring payroll deadlines with accuracy.
