Working closely with finance leaders and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to month-end activities, reporting processes, and operational accounting functions that help drive organizational performance. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and monthly reporting schedules
• You’ll support month-end close activities, including accruals, allocations, revenue recognition, and account analysis
• You’ll assist with fixed asset administration, depreciation reporting, asset tracking, and continuity schedules
• You’ll support accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment application, collections, and account reconciliations
• You’ll participate in budgeting and forecasting processes by compiling data and assisting with financial analysis
• You’ll contribute to internal and external audit requirements, ad hoc reporting, and special finance projects
Skills and Qualifications
• 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of IFRS and/or GAAP principles
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data
• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, accounts receivable, and month-end processes
• Knowledge of JD Edwards and Hubble software is considered an asset
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
