In this role, you will collaborate with infrastructure and platform services teams to maintain and enhance enterprise Linux and Solaris environments. You will have the opportunity to work with modern automation tools, contribute to DevOps initiatives, and help drive operational excellence through process improvement and documentation.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll support and maintain enterprise Solaris 11 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8/9 environments
• You’ll perform operating system administration activities, including maintenance, patching, hardening, and performance tuning
• You’ll assist with server installations, configurations, and lifecycle management using Satellite and Ansible Automation Platform
• You’ll develop and enhance Ansible playbooks to automate routine administrative and operational tasks
• You’ll contribute to DevOps practices by supporting CI/CD pipeline development and management
• You’ll create and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, build books, and operational guides
• You’ll provide additional infrastructure support and project-related deliverables as required

Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Red Hat Linux 8/9 environments using Satellite
• 5+ years of experience supporting Solaris 11 environments
• Demonstrated experience with Ansible Automation and infrastructure automation practices
• Strong UNIX system administration experience, including scripting, packaging, hardware support, and system builds
• Experience working within DevOps environments and supporting CI/CD pipelines
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Network Automation, RHCE certification, and/or experience with Red Hat OpenSCAP are considered strong assets
