We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Discovery Specialist to join a dynamic technology team supporting critical enterprise service management initiatives. Working alongside infrastructure, operations, and platform teams, you will play a key role in enhancing ServiceNow capabilities and ensuring accurate configuration data across both on-premises and cloud environments. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll configure, maintain, and optimize ServiceNow Discovery and MID Server environments across enterprise systems.
• In this role, you’ll design and develop custom probes, sensors, and discovery patterns for both on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• You’ll integrate ServiceNow with third-party platforms and tools to support accurate data collection and operational workflows.
• You’ll ensure effective CMDB population, data integrity, and ongoing configuration management best practices.
• In this role, you’ll troubleshoot discovery issues and optimize credential-based access methods across multiple technologies.
• You’ll collaborate with technical stakeholders to implement scalable discovery solutions and improve platform performance.
Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery and MID Server configuration.
• 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining custom probes, sensors, and discovery patterns.
• 5+ years of experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party applications and supporting CMDB population initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols including SNMP, WMI, SSH, API, and JDBC.
• Experience working with credential-based access and enterprise infrastructure environments.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Discovery certification or ITOM certification is required.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.
