Your Responsibilities
• You’ll support claimants and representatives through phone, email, mail, and other communication channels, providing clear and professional guidance throughout the claims process
• You’ll process, review, and verify claims-related documentation while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with established procedures
• You’ll maintain detailed records, manage support tickets, and follow up on outstanding inquiries within established timelines
• You’ll conduct quality assurance reviews, identify discrepancies, and escalate complex or sensitive cases as required
• You’ll contribute to special projects, reporting initiatives, process improvements, and administrative support activities that help drive efficient claims processing
• You’ll handle sensitive and potentially distressing content with professionalism, discretion, and objectivity
• You’ll collaborate with team members and leadership while participating in regular wellness check-ins and team debriefs
Skills and Qualifications
• 1+ year of experience supporting clients, patients, customers, or stakeholders through phone-based interactions
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken
• Experience with data entry, document management, and administrative support functions
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience using VOIP or internet-based phone systems is considered an asset
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion while maintaining professionalism under pressure
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and/or the ability to speak an Indigenous language is considered an asset
