Location: Brampton, ON, Hybrid, 2 days per week on-site

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to support a major Enterprise Asset Management transformation within a public sector environment. This role will focus on IBM Maximo implementation and related asset-based, business-critical technology solutions that support long-term operational efficiency and service delivery.

You will work closely with enterprise architecture, technology leaders, project delivery teams, and business stakeholders to shape secure, scalable, and practical solutions. Your expertise will help connect strategy, architecture, and implementation in a way that supports meaningful organizational change.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll lead solution architecture activities for Enterprise Asset Management and IBM Maximo implementation initiatives
• In this role, you’ll provide expert advice through technical analysis of enterprise, business, security, and integration requirements
• You’ll design and present technical plans, workflows, network architecture diagrams, specifications, and solution prototypes
• You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to assess solution options, confirm alignment with enterprise architecture, and recommend practical approaches
• You’ll act as a trusted liaison with technical and business teams, helping guide decisions around tools, technologies, standards, and policies
• You’ll support strategic planning by assessing emerging technologies, public sector trends, risks, opportunities, and future roadmap needs

Skills and Qualifications
• 8+ years of progressive experience in solution architecture, technical design, engineering, software architecture, database design, and EAM platforms
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management, including asset lifecycle, inventory, contracts, purchasing, resources, work management, preventive maintenance, and security
• Relevant post-secondary education in Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven experience designing secure integration approaches that support robust interoperability across enterprise systems
• Strong understanding of data, security, resilient systems design, integration, and application development on large-scale projects
• Mandatory IBM Certified Maximo Solution Architect certification and IBM Certified Maximo Advanced Deployment Professional, Asset Management certification
• Nice to have experience or certification in public sector EAM methodologies, Agile project or program management, Zachman, TOGAF, or equivalent enterprise architecture frameworks
