About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Project Manager to support a high-profile organization in the financial and public sector space. In this role, you will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of critical cybersecurity and operational resilience initiatives that help protect essential systems and services.
Working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership, you will play a key role in driving projects that strengthen cyber resilience, support recovery planning, and enhance the organization's overall security posture. Your Responsibilities
• You'll lead the planning and implementation of cybersecurity and operational resilience initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and security requirements
• You'll develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, governance documentation, and status reporting
• You'll coordinate recovery testing activities for critical systems in partnership with technical and operational teams
• You'll manage project resources, timelines, dependencies, risks, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle
• You'll facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily scrum meetings, while supporting the prioritization of key deliverables
• You'll engage stakeholders across business and technology teams to drive collaboration, resolve issues, and ensure successful project outcomes
Skills and Qualifications
• 10+ years of progressive project management experience within information technology and cybersecurity environments
• University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience leading cybersecurity, information security, or cyber resilience projects in complex enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of PMBOK methodologies, project governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
• Experience managing cloud-related initiatives, preferably within Microsoft Azure environments
• PMP and/or Scrum Master certification considered a strong asset
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
