Your Responsibilities
• You'll review, verify, and process supplier invoices and employee expense reports, ensuring accurate GL coding and approvals
• You'll prepare and process payments, including electronic payments, wire transfers, and occasional cheque runs
• In this role, you'll enter invoices, payments, and related transactions into the accounting system while maintaining accurate financial records
• You'll complete account reconciliations and support month-end activities to ensure timely financial reporting
• You'll assist with cheque deposits and banking-related administrative processes while maintaining proper separation of duties controls
• You'll monitor accounts payable transactions and investigate discrepancies as required
Skills and Qualifications
• 2–5 years of hands-on Accounts Payable or junior accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits, credits, reconciliations, and GST/PST requirements
• Experience processing invoices, expense reports, payments, and account reconciliations with minimal supervision
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage priorities effectively
• Experience with ERP systems, Dynamics GP experience is considered an asset
• Experience with Concur or similar expense management platforms is considered an asset
