About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a growing real estate organization seeking a Property Finance Manager to support a portfolio of development and income-producing assets. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of full-cycle property accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting while working closely with finance leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

As a key member of the finance team, you will help drive accurate financial reporting, support strategic decision-making, and contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for a curious and technically strong accounting professional who enjoys collaborating across teams and taking initiative.

What’s In It for You
Join a collaborative finance team that values continuous learning, innovation, and professional growth. You'll gain exposure to development projects, portfolio-level financial analysis, and strategic initiatives while working in an environment that encourages new ideas, knowledge sharing, and career development.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll oversee day-to-day accounting activities, monthly and quarterly reporting, and financial statement preparation for an assigned portfolio.
• You'll review property financial statements and supporting working papers provided by external property management partners to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• You'll support portfolio analysis, management reporting, and annual budgeting processes.
• You'll assist with acquisitions and dispositions, including statements of adjustment and post-closing reconciliations.
• You'll coordinate the onboarding and integration of new properties into reporting and workflow structures.
• You'll manage treasury-related activities, including funding requests, borrowing requirements, and banking renewals.
• You'll participate in accounting system enhancements, process improvement initiatives, and special projects.

Skills and Qualifications
• 3-5 years of progressive property accounting or real estate finance experience.
• 1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience supporting development projects and property portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
• Proficiency with Yardi Voyager and advanced Excel skills.
• CPA designation, or progress toward completion, is considered an asset.
• Strong communication skills, business curiosity, and the ability to build relationships across functions.

Note from the Hiring Manager
