As a Fundraising Administrative Assistant, you'll work closely with a supportive team to help coordinate fundraising activities, donor communications, and administrative processes. This role offers exposure to a variety of projects and provides the opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to meaningful work that positively impacts the community.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll provide day-to-day administrative support to the fundraising and communications team, including preparing correspondence, donor communications, reports, and departmental documents
• You’ll respond to donor, volunteer, and public inquiries professionally through phone and email interactions
• You’ll maintain accurate records, spreadsheets, databases, and tracking tools to support departmental operations
• You’ll assist with fundraising campaigns, proposal packages, donor stewardship activities, and communications initiatives
• You’ll support the planning and coordination of fundraising and community events
• You’ll contribute to social media content planning, development, scheduling, and reporting activities
• You’ll manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions
Skills and Qualifications
• 2+ year of administrative experience, preferably within a non-profit, communications, fundraising, marketing, or customer-facing environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft professional correspondence and communications
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools, experience with Canva is considered an asset
• Demonstrated professionalism, emotional intelligence, and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
• Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and professional when responding to challenging or sensitive inquiries
• Experience supporting multiple stakeholders, managers, or executives is considered an asset
• Exposure to fundraising, donor relations, volunteer coordination, or community engagement activities is considered an asset
