About the Opportunity
Are you a Business Analyst with a passion for payroll, process improvement, and enterprise transformation? We are partnering with a globally recognized professional services organization that is undertaking a significant payroll transformation initiative and is seeking a Finance Systems Business Analyst (Payroll) to help drive meaningful change across its finance and payroll operations.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with payroll subject matter experts, finance leaders, project managers, and technology teams to improve processes, support system enhancements, and ensure business requirements are translated into practical, high-quality solutions. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll capture and document current-state and future-state payroll processes to support transformation initiatives
• In this role, you’ll gather, analyze, and validate payroll business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• You’ll identify process gaps, risks, and dependencies while supporting solution design and implementation activities
• You’ll support payroll-related data analysis, reconciliation, migration preparation, and validation efforts
• You’ll coordinate and support user acceptance testing, defect tracking, and resolution activities
• You’ll facilitate workshops with payroll stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather insights and drive alignment
• You’ll contribute to process improvements, system upgrades, and payroll modernization initiatives across global teams
Skills and Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting payroll operations, payroll systems, or payroll transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and applicable statutory requirements
• Experience creating process maps, business requirements documentation, test scenarios, and other analysis artifacts
• Knowledge of payroll integrations with HR, finance, banking, and general ledger systems
• Experience supporting testing, data validation, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills
• Exposure to global or multi-country payroll environments is considered a strong asset
