We are seeking a Compensation Clerk to join a collaborative team within the public sector, helping ensure financial transactions and employee claims are processed accurately and efficiently in support of an important national training organization.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll process, verify, and finalize electronic and manual employee claims while ensuring supporting documentation is complete and accurate.
• You'll support travel, relocation, and other financial claim processing using approved systems and established procedures.
• You'll assist with cost comparisons and provide administrative support to financial operations.
• You'll respond to inquiries from managers, staff, and suppliers regarding claims, documentation, and financial procedures.
• You'll coordinate travel-related arrangements, including bookings through approved travel management systems when required.
• You'll maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with information management, security, and privacy requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience providing administrative, compensation, payroll, financial, or client service support.
• Experience processing financial transactions, claims, or payroll documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office and experience working with electronic financial or claims management systems. Experience with Claims X or AMEX GBT/NEO is considered an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to obtain or currently hold a valid Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance.
