Finance Leader

Location: Greater Toronto Area | Fully On-site
Compensation: $175,000 - $185,000 base salary + 20% annual bonus + 3% DPSP match + comprehensive benefits

Our client, a successful and growing Canadian organization, is seeking a Finance Leader to join its executive team. This is a high-impact opportunity for a strategic finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys influencing business decisions at the highest level.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership while overseeing key financial functions that support organizational growth, operational excellence, and long-term business success. You'll work closely with leaders across the organization, helping translate financial insights into meaningful business outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

  • You'll partner with executive leadership to support strategic planning, growth initiatives, and business performance.
  • You'll lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management activities across the organization.
  • You'll oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, treasury, tax, compliance, and risk management functions.
  • You'll deliver meaningful financial analysis and recommendations that support informed business decisions.
  • You'll identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and drive operational efficiencies.
  • You'll develop and mentor finance professionals while fostering a high-performance team culture.
  • You'll support business transformation initiatives and other strategic projects as the organization continues to grow.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership responsibilities.
  • CPA designation required.
  • 7+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing finance teams.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business planning.
  • Experience operating within complex, multi-entity or growth-oriented organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and build strong cross-functional partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
