About the Opportunity

A respected public sector organization is seeking a Financial Supervisor to support the continued stabilization, optimization, and integration of its recently implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine financial leadership with systems expertise, helping ensure the organization maximizes the value of its investment in modern financial technology.

 

Working closely with finance leaders, operational stakeholders, and technical partners, you will play a key role in strengthening financial processes, improving reporting capabilities, and refining system configurations to support business objectives. Your ability to bridge accounting knowledge with system functionality will directly contribute to operational efficiency, data integrity, and informed decision-making.

Your Responsibilities

• You'll oversee the ongoing optimization and administration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations following a recent enterprise-wide implementation

• In this role, you'll support financial system configuration, account structure alignment, mapping activities, and workflow enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy

• You'll lead the development and refinement of financial reports, ensuring stakeholders have access to reliable and actionable information

• You'll collaborate with finance, IT, and external partners to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and support system adoption

• You'll oversee financial data integrity activities, including reconciliation, validation, and ongoing governance of financial information

• You'll identify opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen controls through improved use of system functionality

 

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting, financial systems, or finance operations experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, including configuration, financial setup, reporting, and post-go-live support

• Strong understanding of general ledger structures, chart of accounts design, financial dimensions, and financial data management

• Experience supporting ERP optimization, system integration activities, workflow configuration, and process improvement initiatives

• Demonstrated knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting best practices

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutions

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
