About the Opportunity
Join a public sector mobility organization that plays an important role in helping people move through the city with greater ease, choice, and convenience. This is a hands-on Revenue Accountant opportunity where your work will support accurate reporting, strong controls, and better decision-making across a high-volume finance environment.
You’ll work closely with revenue, finance, IT, external consultants, and internal stakeholders to validate revenue data, investigate variances, and support process improvements. Your insights will help ensure revenue and banking transactions are complete, accurate, and aligned with internal control requirements.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll audit daily revenue integrations, reviewing interface control accounts and investigating variances
• In this role, you’ll test the accuracy and completeness of general ledger interface accounts using three-way matching and application controls
• You’ll investigate revenue and payment interface issues, working with IT, SAP consultants, and internal stakeholders to resolve them
• You’ll perform revenue and payment reconciliations, analyze variances, and validate transactions processed in SAP
• You’ll prepare and post journal entries while maintaining documentation to support audit work plans
• You’ll prepare monthly revenue and transaction volume reporting and support future revenue metrics
• You’ll support external and internal audit projects, system updates, new interfaces, equipment changes, and testing activities
Skills and Qualifications
• 3+ years of accounting and audit experience, ideally in a high-volume transaction environment
• Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• CPA in progress is preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, including lookup functions, complex logical statements, charts, and pivot tables
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA is preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate root causes and identify process improvements
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work with finance, technical, and business stakeholders
