About the Opportunity
A well-established nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting youth through employment, skills development, and community-based programs is seeking a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to provide short-term coverage and ensure the smooth operation of a busy front office environment.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and community partners while providing essential administrative support to a collaborative team. Your contributions will help create a welcoming experience and support programs that positively impact youth in the community.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll welcome visitors and create a positive first impression for clients, partners, and staff.
• You’ll answer and direct incoming calls while responding to inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• You’ll coordinate courier services, process incoming and outgoing mail, and support daily office operations.
• You’ll provide administrative support to team members across the organization as needed.
• You’ll maintain an organized reception area and ensure office resources are readily available.
• You’ll assist with general customer service and administrative tasks to support business continuity.
Skills and Qualifications
• 2-5 years of reception, administrative, or front-desk experience in a professional office environment.
• Demonstrated customer service experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• A professional, dependable, and adaptable approach to work.
• Previous experience within a nonprofit or community-focused organization is considered an asset.
