About the Opportunity
Our client, a growing professional services organization in the public accounting sector, is seeking an Accounting & Assurance Manager to join their collaborative leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CPA who is passionate about delivering exceptional client service while mentoring and developing accounting professionals in a supportive, people-first environment.
In this role, you'll work closely with clients, firm leadership, and talented accounting professionals to drive high-quality assurance and advisory services. Your Responsibilities
- You'll oversee multiple assurance and non-assurance engagements, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction
- You'll lead engagement planning, scope assignments, and resource allocation across client portfolios
- You'll provide technical guidance and strategic recommendations to clients on accounting and tax matters
- You'll build and strengthen client relationships while identifying opportunities to deliver additional value
- You'll coach, mentor, and support the development of accounting professionals across the team
- You'll contribute to firm-wide initiatives, policy development, and professional standards committees
- You'll participate in recruitment, performance evaluations, and talent development activities
Skills and Qualifications
- 4+ years of public accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership capacity
- CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting credential
- Strong technical knowledge of assurance engagements, compilations, reviews, and corporate and personal tax
- Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and competing priorities
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and client management skills
- Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development
