We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, large-scale IT initiatives in a public sector environment. This is a high-impact role for someone who can bring structure, confidence, and clarity to modernization work involving cross-functional teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll lead multidisciplinary project teams, technical staff, vendors, and stakeholders through the full project lifecycle
• In this role, you’ll manage scope, budgets, resources, schedules, risks, issues, reporting, and change requests
• You’ll oversee key project documentation, including business requirements, use cases, workflows, data models, architecture diagrams, and technical design specifications
• You’ll develop stakeholder engagement strategies, change management plans, readiness assessments, communications plans, and training strategies
• You’ll advise senior leaders on project status, risks, technical matters, and recommended paths forward
• You’ll review test plans, test cases, scenarios, results, defects, and issue tracking to support quality software delivery
• You’ll ensure projects are delivered with strong governance, process controls, and effective cross-functional communication
Skills and Qualifications
• 10+ years of progressive project and program management experience on large-scale IT initiatives
• 10+ years of experience using agile, waterfall, iterative, and other project delivery methodologies and tools
• 10+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams through requirements gathering, impact analysis, JAD sessions, and BPM/BPMN process mapping
• Active PMP® Certification from PMI, in good standing
• University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Experience with modernization, legacy system replacement, procurement, contract negotiations, and vendor management
• Public sector or government experience is considered an asset
