About the Opportunity
Our healthcare client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Office Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of a busy long-term care environment. This role plays an important part in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting billing and accounts receivable processes that contribute to the smooth operation of resident services.
Working closely with an experienced administrative team, you'll have access to strong support and guidance while gaining valuable exposure to payroll administration, reporting, and healthcare operations. Your Responsibilities
• You'll support weekly payroll preparation for approximately 100+ hourly employees using Dayforce
• You'll review employee time entries to ensure accuracy and timely payroll processing
• You'll run billing and accounts receivable reports through PointClickCare and distribute weekly statements
• You'll process and monitor approximately 50+ invoices per week while maintaining accurate records
• You'll provide regular updates and administrative support related to payroll, billing, and reporting activities
• You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and support day-to-day office operations
Skills and Qualifications
• 1+ years of experience supporting payroll, billing, accounts receivable, or related administrative functions
• Previous exposure to payroll processing, preferably using Dayforce
• Experience working with PointClickCare or similar healthcare systems is considered an asset
• Healthcare, long-term care, retirement home, or related industry experience is strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with reporting, data entry, and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a broader team
