This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on Data Engineer who enjoys solving complex data challenges and bridging the gap between legacy systems and modern cloud technologies.

Working within a collaborative project team, you will help migrate business-critical data from legacy environments into Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dataverse while supporting the development of a future-ready analytics ecosystem. You'll partner closely with data leaders, technical specialists, and business stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and positioned to drive informed decision-making.

Your Responsibilities

• You'll build and execute data migration processes that transfer data from legacy databases and SSAS models into Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dataverse.

• You'll develop, test, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and Dataiku.

• You'll support the extraction, maintenance, and migration of data from existing SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) environments.

• You'll implement data mapping, transformation logic, and schema alignment to ensure seamless migration into target platforms.

• You'll perform data validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities across multiple migration cycles.

• You'll collaborate with data leads, system integrators, and business stakeholders to deliver migration activities, technical documentation, and execution plans.

• You'll help prepare reporting-ready datasets within OneLake and Microsoft Fabric to support downstream analytics and dashboard development.

 

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with a strong focus on data migration and ETL/ELT development.

• Proven experience developing, deploying, and troubleshooting SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages and working with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).

• Strong proficiency with Azure Data Factory (ADF), T-SQL, and Dataiku workflows and preparation recipes.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, or the broader Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and OneLake concepts for analytical data staging, transformation, and delivery.

• Experience working with structured and semi-structured data formats including CSV, JSON, and XML.

• Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM) concepts, enterprise data governance practices, and data quality frameworks.

• Experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives, preferably within regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, or banking, is considered an asset.
