Our client in the property management sector is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support daily financial operations within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. In this role, you’ll work closely with finance professionals, property teams, vendors, and clients to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll process invoices, purchase orders, and employee expense reports with accuracy and efficiency
  • In this role, you’ll support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including payment tracking and follow-ups
  • You’ll maintain financial records, spreadsheets, and organized filing systems to support daily operations
  • You’ll perform data entry and assist with reconciling account discrepancies and financial documentation
  • You’ll support payroll administration and employee expense tracking processes
  • In this position, you’ll liaise with vendors, tenants, clients, and internal departments to ensure timely communication and issue resolution
  • You’ll contribute to month-end and year-end accounting activities while maintaining strict confidentiality of financial information

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of progressive administrative and/or accounting experience
  • Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Experience using accounting software such as Sage, Yardi, Buildium, or similar platforms is considered an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
