About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to join its Human Resources Systems & Analysis team during an exciting period of transformation and systems enhancement. This role will play a key part in supporting a major institutional budget tool implementation, helping ensure HR data is accurate, integrated, and translated into meaningful insights that support workforce planning and operational decision-making.
Working closely with HR, Finance, IT, and project stakeholders, you’ll contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives focused on reporting, forecasting, data validation, and systems integration. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll collect, clean, validate, and analyze HR data to support operational and project-based reporting requirements
• You’ll support a major HR-to-budget tool integration initiative, ensuring accurate workforce and compensation data alignment
• In this role, you’ll develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using business intelligence and reporting tools
• You’ll collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors to support integrations, troubleshooting, and project deliverables
• You’ll translate complex data and reporting requirements into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization
• You’ll contribute to process improvement initiatives focused on data quality, governance, and operational efficiency
Skills and Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, HRIS Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or related analytics-focused role
• Experience working with HR systems, ERP platforms, or enterprise data environments, exposure to PeopleSoft is considered an asset
• Strong technical skills using Power BI, SQL, Excel, Tableau, Python, R, or similar analytics and reporting tools
• Demonstrated experience with data validation, reporting, dashboard development, and process analysis
• Experience supporting projects, systems implementations, integrations, or transformation initiatives
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities within a deadline-driven environment • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups
• Experience working within large, complex, or highly regulated organizations is considered an asset
