Working closely with Indigenous communities, leadership teams, and regional partners, the Property and Project Coordinator helps guide projects that are deeply connected to community life, spirituality, and self-determination. This is an opportunity to contribute to work grounded in respect, collaboration, and cultural understanding while helping create safe, functional, and sustainable spaces that reflect community priorities and values.

• Work in a collaborative and values-driven environment that respects Indigenous knowledge systems and lived experiences
• Contribute to projects that directly support vibrant and sustainable community spaces across Canada
• Enjoy meaningful work with autonomy, variety, and opportunities to build strong national relationships
• Be part of a culture that values integrity, accountability, and thoughtful decision-making

Your Responsibilities
• Lead property assessments and evaluations, identifying repair priorities, accessibility considerations, and opportunities for renewal or redevelopment
• Coordinate projects with communities, contractors, consultants, and regional stakeholders to support successful project delivery
• Develop community-informed project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and funding approaches
• Provide practical guidance on maintenance, renovations, redevelopment, and property sustainability initiatives
• Support respectful and transparent decision-making processes that honour local priorities and cultural practices in collaboration with community leadership
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and maintain accurate reporting, documentation, and national property records

Skills and Qualifications
• 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in property coordination, facility management, construction coordination, or project management
• Post-secondary education in Property Management, Construction, Community Development, Project Coordination, or a related field
• Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance processes, contractor coordination, and property planning
• Experience developing project scopes, budgets, timelines, and interpreting technical reports and contractor estimates
• Deep understanding of and experience working collaboratively with Indigenous communities, including knowledge of leadership structures and community governance
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple timelines
• Proficiency with Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, Zoom, Dynamics, OneDrive, digital documentation tools, and virtual collaboration platforms
• Ability and willingness to travel nationally as required
