An established national organization supporting communities across Canada is seeking an Internal Communications Coordinator to support a high-profile finance transformation initiative. Working closely with the Internal Communications Manager and senior finance stakeholders, you will play a key role in shaping how important organizational updates are communicated to employees nationwide.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll develop and execute internal communication plans aligned with finance division priorities and major organizational initiatives
• You’ll translate complex financial information into clear, employee-friendly messaging and communication materials
• You’ll collaborate with finance leaders, HR teams, project stakeholders, and change management partners to ensure consistent communication strategies
• You’ll create and manage content for intranet platforms, leadership communications, project campaigns, and employee updates
• You’ll support the rollout of finance and HR-related transformation projects through strategic communications planning and execution
• You’ll monitor engagement metrics and feedback to continuously improve communication effectiveness and employee understanding
Skills and Qualifications
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or public relations
• Proven experience developing and implementing communication plans and strategies for organizational initiatives or projects
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex or technical information for broad audiences
• Experience managing intranet or internal web content and supporting internal communication campaigns
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and internal communication tools
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Experience within finance, public sector/non-profit, or large national organizations is considered an asset
