Your Responsibilities
• You’ll process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 50 employees across Canadian and U.S. entities
• In this role, you’ll manage vacation tracking, payroll updates, employee records, and HR documentation
• You’ll coordinate benefits enrolments, changes, and employee support inquiries
• You’ll reconcile monthly invoices and support payroll-related reporting and administration
• You’ll assist with onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining accurate personnel files
• In this position, you’ll provide occasional reception backup and support office-wide administrative initiatives
• You’ll participate in internal committees including Health & Safety and social engagement activities
Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of payroll administration experience with exposure to HR support responsibilities
• Experience processing both Canadian and U.S. payroll, including hourly employees and overtime calculations
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, employee record management, and benefits administration
• Comfortable working independently in a small office environment with shifting priorities
• High attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential information
• Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a calm, steady, team-oriented approach
