Reporting to the Senior Sourcing Manager, you will play a key role in shaping packaging sourcing initiatives across packaging procurement while supporting a fast-moving and highly collaborative manufacturing environment. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll lead packaging sourcing initiatives to support cost optimization, supplier performance, and operational efficiency
• In this role, you’ll negotiate commercial agreements and manage supplier relationships to support quality, service, and business objectives
• You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to support packaging development, commercialization, and operational requirements
• You’ll monitor supplier performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply base
• You’ll identify opportunities for dual sourcing, packaging optimization, and supply risk mitigation
• In this position, you’ll analyze market trends, pricing movements, and packaging innovations to support strategic decision-making
• You’ll provide leadership and guidance to a direct report, supporting performance management, coaching, and development

Skills and Qualifications
• 4+ years of progressive sourcing or procurement experience within food manufacturing, beverage, packaging, or CPG environments
• Direct packaging sourcing experience is mandatory
• Previous people leadership experience with responsibility for coaching, goal setting, and performance management
• Strong negotiation, supplier relationship management, and strategic sourcing capabilities
• Advanced Excel skills with experience using procurement or ERP systems
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing competing priorities
• Valid passport with the ability to travel within Canada and the US, valid driver’s license, and access to a vehicle are required
