• Work alongside experienced property management and operations professionals
• Contribute to sustainability and energy management initiatives
• Be part of a culture that supports professional growth, mentorship, and continuous improvement

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll oversee the daily operation and performance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life-safety, elevator, and central plant systems
• In this role, you’ll supervise Building Operators and coordinate daily maintenance activities, inspections, and staffing schedules
• You’ll support preventative and corrective maintenance programs, ensuring work orders, logs, and documentation remain current and accurate
• You’ll coordinate contractors, review service reports, and ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational standards
• You’ll act as the primary escalation point for tenant technical concerns and support after-hours service requirements
• You’ll assist with operational budgeting, inventory management, capital planning, and contract renewals
• You’ll support emergency response activities, life-safety testing, and ongoing compliance with Fire Code and ESA/TSSA requirements

Skills and Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in commercial building operations, including at least 3 years supervising operations staff
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and life-safety systems
• Experience working with BAS and CMMS platforms in commercial or mixed-use environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting systems
• Building Environmental Systems (BES) certification or equivalent an asset
• Mechanical or Electrical background, BOMI, SMT, or facilities management credentials considered an asset
