About the Opportunity
An established Canadian organization in the retail and member services space is seeking an experienced marketing and brand standards consultant to modernize and streamline its creative ecosystem. Working closely with a small team of senior designers and marketing stakeholders, you’ll bring structure, consistency, and efficiency to the organization’s design and campaign workflows. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll conduct a full audit of current marketing and design practices to identify inconsistencies, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
• You’ll create and implement brand standards, style guides, templates, and workflow documentation that support long-term campaign consistency
• In this role, you’ll design practical marketing assets and templates directly within design software, not just provide strategic recommendations
• You’ll establish accessible and bilingual design standards that align with organizational and audience requirements
• You’ll collaborate with designers and leadership to recommend scalable process improvements and best practices
• You’ll provide confident direction and constructive pushback when needed to help align stakeholders on consistent creative standards
Skills and Qualifications
• 7+ years of progressive experience in brand management, marketing design systems, or creative operations
• Proven experience building brand standards, style guides, templates, and scalable marketing frameworks from the ground up
• Strong hands-on graphic design capabilities with experience producing creative assets directly in design software
• Background in retail marketing, creative agencies, or consumer-facing organizations, experience supporting highly regulated or structured environments is an asset
• Strong understanding of accessible and bilingual marketing requirements
• Experience working with cross-functional creative teams and influencing stakeholders with confidence and professionalism
• Familiarity with MS Dynamics CI and Mac-based creative environments is considered an asset
