This is an opportunity to lead high-performing engineering teams focused on geophysics, geology, and geostatistics products in a collaborative and highly technical environment. You will work closely with Product, Design, Architecture, and executive leadership teams to drive innovation, modernize platforms, and build a culture centered on accountability, mentorship, and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll lead multiple software development teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products and long-term strategic initiatives
• In this role, you’ll drive alignment between engineering execution, product strategy, and evolving industry requirements
• You’ll oversee the transition of desktop applications into hybrid and cloud-enabled solutions that enhance user experience and scalability
• You’ll champion engineering best practices, including technical debt reduction, security risk management, and release quality standards
• You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Designers, and Architecture teams to manage dependencies and optimize delivery outcomes
• You’ll guide, coach, and mentor leaders and technical professionals to foster engagement, growth, and high performance
• You’ll help advance the adoption of modern technologies and AI-enabled productivity tools across engineering functions

Skills and Qualifications
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within Software Development environments
• Experience leading large-scale engineering teams across enterprise or scientific technology organizations
• Strong background in software architecture, cloud technologies, and modern development practices
• Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable operational plans and measurable outcomes
• Experience managing technical complexity, cross-functional dependencies, and evolving product roadmaps
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level collaboration and influence
• Post-secondary education in Software Development, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
