About the Opportunity
An established and highly regulated organization in the energy and utilities sector is seeking a Senior Financial Processing Analyst to support critical financial systems, operational processes, and enterprise-wide reporting initiatives. This role is ideal for a collaborative finance professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges while contributing to large-scale operational efficiency and system enhancements.
Working closely with finance, supply chain, operational teams, and technical stakeholders, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving financial processing systems that support day-to-day business activities. You’ll have the opportunity to influence process improvements, contribute to projects with enterprise-wide impact, and provide meaningful recommendations to senior leadership.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll support the enhancement, maintenance, and optimization of financial processing systems and related business applications
• In this role, you’ll coordinate testing activities, develop test scripts, and support implementation activities for system enhancements
• You’ll provide financial and transactional analysis, reporting support, and operational process monitoring
• You’ll collaborate with business process owners and technical teams to ensure applications are maintained effectively and efficiently
• You’ll contribute to process improvement initiatives and participate in projects focused on operational optimization and business transformation
• You’ll prepare recommendations, analysis, and presentations for management and key stakeholders
• You’ll mentor junior team members and provide coordination support on assigned projects and deliverables
Skills and Qualifications
• 6–8 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, financial systems support, or financial operations within a large corporate environment
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience supporting or enhancing financial processing systems such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Supply Chain, or reporting platforms
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, reporting processes, and business operations
• Experience working in project coordination or consultative environments supporting system improvements and operational initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business issues and provide practical recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership
• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams
