A growing investment and wealth management organization is seeking a detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join its collaborative finance and portfolio management team. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll prepare and review annual and semi-annual investment fund financial statements, supporting schedules, and auditor working papers within established timelines
• In this role, you’ll oversee month-end pooled fund reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, and NAV calculations with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
• You’ll review daily fund transactions, cash flow activity, and asset reconciliations to maintain balanced and accurate fund accounts
• You’ll support regulatory and compliance initiatives, including exempt distribution filings, AML and KYC processes, and ongoing reporting requirements
• In this position, you’ll generate client invoicing files, management fee calculations, and review client tax reporting packages prior to distribution
• You’ll contribute to year-end tax allocation reporting, HST filings, and ongoing process improvements across fund accounting operations

Skills and Qualifications
• 3+ years of progressive experience in investment or fund accounting within a wealth management or asset management environment
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• CPA and/or CFA designation, completed or in progress, is preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of Securities Act requirements, FATCA, FINTRAC, AML, and related compliance obligations
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and the ability to manage competing deadlines during peak reporting periods
