About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale enterprise technology initiative focused on operational readiness, production transition, and go-live support. This role will work closely with business, QA, technical, and operational teams to ensure successful implementation and stabilization of critical systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative and detail-oriented Business Analyst who thrives in fast-paced enterprise environments and has strong experience supporting testing, operational readiness, and stakeholder coordination.
Contract Details
- 2-year contract
- Full-time hours (37.5 hours/week)
- Hybrid work model – approximately 4 onsite days per month in Ottawa
- Fully remote candidates may also be considered
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required
- English-speaking environment
- Candidates must be eligible to obtain Secret-level security clearance
Key Responsibilities
- Support production readiness planning and operational transition activities
- Collaborate with business and QA stakeholders to define business scenarios, workflows, and testing outcomes
- Coordinate and support integration testing, UAT, and end-to-end validation activities
- Identify, track, and help resolve operational gaps, defects, and process issues
- Develop and maintain operational documentation including SOPs, runbooks, process flows, and support procedures
- Create user guides and training materials to support business users and operational teams
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and operational readiness activities
- Ensure support teams understand workflows, escalation paths, and operational expectations
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams throughout implementation and deployment phases
- Support go-live activities and post-deployment stabilization efforts
- Identify operational risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
- Coordinate readiness activities across multiple stakeholder groups to ensure alignment with project timelines
Required Qualifications
- University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing multimedia backend systems
- Minimum 3 years of experience working within multimedia infrastructure environments
- Experience supporting production readiness, operational transition, and go-live activities
- Hands-on experience supporting testing cycles including integration testing, UAT, and end-to-end testing
- Strong documentation experience including user guides, process documentation, and knowledge transfer materials
- Experience working with meeting room technology
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to work across business, QA, technical, and operational support teams
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- CBAP, CCBA, or other relevant Business Analysis certifications
