About the Opportunity
An established Canadian retail organization is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join a collaborative store planning and design team supporting large-scale retail projects across Canada. In this role, you’ll work closely with internal business partners, architects, and consultants to bring functional retail spaces to life. You’ll have the opportunity to influence store layouts, solve complex planning challenges, and support projects from concept development through operational approval.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll produce fixture plans for new builds, renovations, and rollout projects using Revit and AutoCAD
• In this role, you’ll develop fixture layouts independently by translating operational requirements into functional designs
• You’ll participate in coordination and alignment meetings, capturing markups, action items, and project updates
• You’ll collaborate with architects and consultants to review drawings and ensure design accuracy and consistency
• You’ll maintain project trackers and support reporting activities using Excel and other planning tools
• You’ll provide insights on space planning considerations and identify potential construction or operational challenges
• You’ll ensure all drawings and layouts align with established drafting and design standards
Skills and Qualifications
• Diploma in Architectural Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1+ years of experience in a Revit design-focused role
• Hands-on experience using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities with a collaborative mindset
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
