Your Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following;
- You’ll identify and pursue new partnership opportunities across pharma, biotech, academic, non-profit, and healthcare organizations
- In this role, you’ll lead proactive outreach efforts through email, LinkedIn, networking, and cold calling initiatives
- You’ll represent the organization at in-person conferences and industry events to build visibility and generate new business opportunities
- You’ll build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for long-term collaboration
- In partnership with internal teams, you’ll help tailor proposals and solutions that align with client objectives
- You’ll manage and track sales pipelines, reporting on progress and growth opportunities to leadership
- You’ll contribute to presentations, pitch materials, and business development strategies that support organizational growth
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of progressive business development or sales experience, within healthcare, life sciences, scientific communications, pharmaceutical, biotech or related sectors
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, academic, or scientific publishing landscape
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in life sciences or a related discipline considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility quickly
- Comfortable leading proactive lead generation, outreach and relationship-building initiatives
- Experience attending, networking, or exhibiting at conferences and industry events
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools
