About the Opportunity
Our client in the infrastructure and civil construction sector is seeking an Infrastructure Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of complex construction and utility projects. Working closely with Project Managers, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors, you will play a key role in keeping projects organized, compliant, and moving forward on schedule and within budget.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the fast pace of construction project environments and wants exposure to the full project lifecycle, from project award through closeout. Your Responsibilities
- You’ll support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and administration activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- In this role, you’ll maintain project documentation including RFIs, drawings, submittals, contracts, shop drawings, and project logs.
- You’ll assist with scheduling, progress tracking, reporting, forecasting, and coordination with field teams and subcontractors.
- You’ll support procurement, subcontract administration, invoice tracking, billing support, and change management documentation.
- You’ll help coordinate closeout activities including as-builts, warranties, O&M manuals, deficiency tracking, and compliance documentation.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in infrastructure, civil construction, project coordination, or project administration environments.
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of construction documentation, drawings, specifications, and project controls processes.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and familiarity with tools such as Procore, MS Project, Primavera, or similar systems.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills within fast-paced project environments.
