About the Opportunity
An established public sector organization is seeking a Senior I&IT Business Analyst to support enterprise-wide IT operations, portfolio reporting, and strategic business analysis initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of analytics, stakeholder engagement, operational reporting, and technology governance.
You will work closely with IT leadership, portfolio teams, and business stakeholders to improve visibility into operational performance, resource utilization, cost optimization, and enterprise KPIs. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll support enterprise-wide KPI reporting, operational analysis, and stakeholder communications across I&IT
• You’ll identify cost optimization opportunities related to IT operations, software, and hardware utilization
• You’ll develop and maintain reports, dashboards, business cases, and executive presentations using Power BI and MS Office tools
• You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and support portfolio reporting initiatives
• You’ll track resource utilization, onboarding activities, overtime reporting, and operational metrics across teams
• You’ll support the implementation and enhancement of portfolio management tools such as Jira and Asana
Skills and Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, IT operations reporting, or enterprise portfolio environments
• 7+ years of experience supporting stakeholder management and enterprise KPI reporting initiatives
• Strong experience identifying IT operational cost drivers and supporting savings optimization initiatives
• Hands-on experience with enterprise portfolio management tools such as Jira, Asana, or similar platforms
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI reporting and data analysis
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills
• CPA designation or finance-related experience is considered an asset
