A leading healthcare organization is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to support a health equity-focused clinic dedicated to improving access and reducing disparities in healthcare services. This role plays an important part in ensuring interpretation services are coordinated efficiently so patients and healthcare providers can communicate effectively across a wide range of languages.
Working closely with internal clinical teams and external interpretation service providers, you’ll help manage appointment coordination in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll coordinate interpretation service requests by liaising with external agencies and internal healthcare teams
• In this role, you’ll monitor shared inboxes and ensure quick turnaround times for incoming requests
• You’ll maintain tracking spreadsheets and update scheduling information with accuracy and attention to detail
• You’ll confirm appointments with physicians, interpreters, and clinic teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• You’ll help troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and coordinate replacements or appointment changes as needed
• You’ll support a high-volume workflow while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines throughout the day
Skills and Qualifications
• 2+ years of administrative or coordination experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage high volumes of email correspondence
• Advanced organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent time management
• Strong Excel and spreadsheet tracking experience
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders
• Previous experience within a healthcare or hospital environment is considered an asset
• Prior experience supporting healthcare or similar organizations is highly preferred
