About the Opportunity
This is a high-impact opportunity for a seasoned Digital Technical Lead to take full ownership of a revenue-critical eCommerce ecosystem within a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization in the consumer goods and distribution space. You will play a central role in shaping and evolving digital platforms, with a strong focus on Magento B2B, ensuring performance, scalability, and stability across all digital touchpoints.
Working closely with cross-functional teams across marketing, IT, and operations, you will act as the technical bridge between business priorities and execution. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll own the technical health, performance, and scalability of digital platforms including Magento, Shopify, and integrated systems
• You’ll translate business and marketing requirements into technical solutions, identifying risks and opportunities early in the process
• You’ll lead end-to-end delivery of features, from design through development, testing, and deployment
• You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure quality, efficiency, and alignment with best practices
• You’ll oversee backlog management, sprint planning, and release execution within an Agile framework
• You’ll implement secure development practices and partner with internal teams on compliance, audits, and incident response
• You’ll continuously improve platform architecture, reduce technical debt, and optimize performance and cost
Skills and Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in web or digital platform engineering, with a focus on eCommerce
• Strong hands-on development experience with Magento (Adobe Commerce) and Shopify (Advanced, Plus, or Headless)
• Proficiency in back-end technologies including PHP, MySQL, APIs, Node.js, and related frameworks
• Strong front-end development skills using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid, and jQuery
• Experience with integrations across platforms such as NetSuite, HubSpot, Klaviyo, or similar tools
• Solid understanding of web security, scalability, performance optimization, and CI/CD practices
• Proven ability to lead technical delivery, manage vendors, and translate business needs into technical solutions
