Location: Ottawa, Ontario (Hybrid, 12 days on-site per month)

Language: English required, French considered an asset

Duration: 1 year contract to start

Your Responsibilities

• You’ll develop and maintain scripts and pipelines that support release management, deployments, and environment configuration

• You’ll build, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and related tools to enable seamless integration and delivery

• You’ll design and deploy containerized applications, ensuring scalability, portability, and efficiency across environments

• You’ll manage and support Azure Kubernetes Service environments, including monitoring, scaling, patching, and troubleshooting

• You’ll resolve complex operational issues by leveraging deep knowledge of enterprise systems and infrastructure

• You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation initiatives and improve operational excellence

• You’ll contribute to agile teams by sharing technical expertise and supporting continuous improvement practices

 

Skills and Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in application development and systems integration within enterprise environments

• 7+ years of hands-on DevOps and CI/CD experience, including DevSecOps practices and pipeline development

• 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based solutions

• Strong experience with tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Nexus, Tekton, Argo CD, Azure DevOps, and Azure Container Registry

• Proven experience with Kubernetes platforms such as AKS and/or Red Hat OpenShift, including cluster management

• Experience with build and dependency tools such as Maven and Gradle, along with configuration tools like Helm and Kustomize

• Working knowledge of SQL, Java, Unix scripting, Node.js, and authentication tools such as CyberArk or AppviewX
