As a Senior Financial Analyst, External Reporting, you will contribute to the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting, with a strong emphasis on technical accounting and complex transactions.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS, including detailed note disclosures and supporting analysis
• You’ll research and interpret complex accounting standards, applying guidance to transactions and emerging business activities
• You’ll develop technical accounting memos and position papers to support conclusions, including documentation for senior leadership and external auditors
• You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to assess accounting implications of new initiatives, contracts, and transactions
• You’ll act as a key point of contact for external auditors, supporting audit requirements and defending technical accounting positions
• You’ll support the implementation of new accounting standards and evolving regulatory requirements
• You’ll coach and support junior analysts, helping guide their development and day-to-day work
Skills and Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in a Big 4 accounting firm
• CPA designation with strong knowledge of IFRS, experience with US GAAP is an asset
• Demonstrated experience researching accounting standards and preparing technical accounting memos or position papers
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex accounting concepts clearly
• Experience with tools such as Workiva or Oracle consolidation systems is an asset
