Your Responsibilities
• You’ll coordinate and manage regulatory studies required for environmental assessments and permitting processes
• You’ll lead the planning, scheduling, and delivery of technical work programs, ensuring alignment with project timelines
• You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to develop reports, studies, and regulatory submissions
• You’ll review technical documentation to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards
• You’ll provide guidance on permitting requirements, supporting informed decision-making across project teams
• You’ll monitor contractor performance, ensuring deliverables meet expectations and regulatory obligations
Skills and Qualifications
• 5–8 years of progressive experience in environmental permitting, approvals, or infrastructure-related projects
• Experience supporting environmental assessments and navigating Canadian regulatory frameworks
• Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
• Familiarity with applicable legislation such as the Fisheries Act or Class Environmental Assessments is an asset
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Post-secondary education in environmental science, engineering, geoscience, or a related field is preferred
