Corporate Accountant
Location: Toronto, ON, Hybrid, 3 days onsite
Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 Base + Benefits, 3 weeks vacation time

Our client, a well-established organization within the financial services and wealth management space, is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join their collaborative finance team in Toronto. Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll support day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities while contributing to month-end processes, regulatory reporting, reconciliations, and financial administration. Your Responsibilities
- You’ll support month-end accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting tasks
- In this role, you’ll assist with monthly regulatory reporting requirements within a regulated environment
- You’ll maintain and update accounting records and continuity schedules across multiple entities
- You’ll support accounts receivable processes and assist with general accounting administration
- In this role, you’ll assist with quarterly commission calculations and related reporting
- You’ll work closely with the CFO and finance team to support audits, reporting requests, and special projects
- You’ll utilize QuickBooks Desktop, Excel, and internal systems to support daily accounting operations
Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of progressive accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems
- Strong understanding of reconciliations, month-end processes, and general accounting principles
- Intermediate Excel skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience working in a professional, deadline-driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred
