About the Opportunity
An established organization in the geo-data and mapping sciences sector is seeking a Lidar Production Analyst to support the delivery of accurate, high-quality terrain and mapping products. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex geospatial data, improving production workflows, and contributing to projects where precision and reliability matter.
You’ll work closely with technical leads, supervisors, production teams, and clients to process lidar data, support quality standards, and help guide day-to-day project delivery. Your work will directly support the creation of lidar-derived products and terrain deliverables that meet internal and external requirements.

This is an opportunity to deepen your production experience, mentor others, contribute process improvements, and work with a team that values accuracy, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
Your Responsibilities
• You’ll process lidar data, lidar-derived products, and other terrain products to meet established project specifications and quality standards.
• In this role, you’ll provide technical support and guidance to team members, peers, management, and clients on procedures, specifications, and production requirements.
• You’ll perform independent quality reviews of work completed by other staff and help maintain consistent product quality.
• You’ll support training activities by acting as an additional technical resource for production teams and clients.
• You’ll assist technical or team leads with project coordination, delegation, tracking, and status reporting.
• You’ll identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and profitability through workflow analysis, tools, software utilities, and new production methods.
Skills and Qualifications
• 3 to 8 years of production experience processing lidar data, lidar-derived products, and other terrain products.
• Working knowledge of lidar processing and QC software, such as MicroStation, TerraSolid, LP360, GeoCue, Global Mapper, ArcGIS, LASTools, or similar tools.
• Strong technical understanding of lidar technology, data quality, and relevant industry standards.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
