Your Responsibilities
• You’ll design and develop instrumentation and control systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• You’ll collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives
• You’ll lead or contribute to design reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory and technical standards
• You’ll support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of complex systems and equipment
• You’ll provide technical leadership on projects, including risk identification, solution development, and stakeholder communication
• You’ll contribute to proposal development, cost estimation, and technical presentations to support business growth
Skills and Qualifications
• 10+ years of progressive experience in design engineering within a regulated industry such as nuclear, aerospace, or oil and gas
• Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Automation Engineering, or a related field, with a valid PEO license
• Proven experience leading or contributing to complex engineering projects across full project lifecycles
• Strong knowledge of design documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
• Experience with tools such as AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical, and familiarity with systems design and testing
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and present technical concepts clearly
• Experience with CSA standards, CANDU systems, or IBM DOORS is considered an asset
