Your Responsibilities
• You’ll lead system-level design requirements, ensuring traceability and alignment using formal tools
• You’ll coordinate interfaces across mechanical, I&C, and software teams to deliver integrated solutions
• You’ll develop and review technical documentation, reports, and engineering assessments
• You’ll guide FMEA activities and support risk identification and mitigation strategies
• You’ll oversee testing and commissioning plans, ensuring successful system validation
• You’ll engage with clients and stakeholders, providing technical insight and building strong relationships
• You’ll contribute to proposals, including scope definition, estimates, and technical presentations
Skills and Qualifications
• 1+ years of experience in design engineering within a regulated industry such as nuclear, aerospace, or transportation
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and working toward or holding a P.Eng designation
• Experience with system design, requirements development, and interdisciplinary integration
• Strong understanding of project delivery, schedules, and budget considerations
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse technical and non-technical audiences
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and emerging leadership capabilities
• Familiarity with tools such as IBM DOORS or similar systems is considered an asset
